Santa Barbara’s 4th of July Fireworks

On this night, there was an extremely high tide and the waves actually came over the top of the normal sand embankment and covering the flat sand on the beach.  To get these shots, which show the reflection of both the ocean and the water on the beach, I stood at the top of the sand embankment.  Often the waves would flow around my feet and tripod but the resulting pictures were worth wet feet.
